Terms & Conditions


  1.  Any works carried out by Ambassador Oil Heating Services Limited for the customer will be under these conditions to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions. Any variations to these conditions shall have no affect unless agreed in writing.
  2. Ambassador Oil Heating Services Limited reserve the right to change with notice any price quoted in the event of a substantial manufacturer product price increase or change of VAT from the current rate. You have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days of notification if you are not happy with any increases.
  3. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or debit card. We will also accept credit card payments up to a maximum value of £250.
  4. All products used are supplied as per the manufacturers’ specification and are subject to the manufacturers’ modification without notice.
  5. Ambassador Oil Heating Services Limited will provide the customer with a commencement and expected completion date. We will endeavour to meet any given deadline within a reasonable period of time and will give the customer prior notice to any possible delays.
  6. Whilst every precaution is taken to ensure work is carried out in a clean, tidy and safe manner Ambassador Oil Heating Services Limited are not liable for any loss or damage caused by third party negligence or customer oversight. It will be the responsibility of the customer to ensure good access is made available as and when required.
  7. Ambassador Oil Heating Services Limited, their representatives and employees state that any alteration, modification, repair, service or any other kind of disassembly or assembly of an Oil or Electrical appliance should be carried out by a suitably qualified engineer, with the mains supply disconnected.
  8. Terms are payment on day of completion.
  9. Ambassador Oil Heating Services Limited reserves the right to seek legal action to recover outstanding debts.
  10. The customer has the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information. Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 within 14 days.




Ambassador Oil Heating Services Limited and their representatives and employees shall not be liable for any damages or losses caused as a result of a consumers failure to adhere to or act upon advice given by the business (including without limitation, special, incidental, consequential, or indirect damages for personal interruption, or any other pecuniary loss).




  • Ambassador Oil Heating Services Limited will document all complaints received from customers in a written complaints log and retain the information for a minimum period of 2 yrs.
  • Acknowledgement and issue a response within 28 days of receipt.
  • If agreed by the customer then remedial action will be carried out within 8 weeks from the date of customer agreement.
  • We will try to settle all complaints amicably with our customers.
  • Offer customers full details of why a complaint will not be upheld where relevant.

Where we cannot resolve any complaints using our own complaints procedure, as a Which? Trusted trader we use Ombudsman Services Ltd for dispute resolution.
